During his 28 year career with the PWGSC (currently Public Services & Procurement Canada), Ron worked at both the operational and senior executive levels in all aspects of supply management and procurement. This included commodity management, special projects, inventory management, goods as well as professional services procurement. During this time Ron was deeply involved in the development of the methodologies for evaluation of services proposals, including the point rating schemes, and calculation formulae. These procedures still form the basis of current procurements.
When re-structuring of programs in the Federal Government became the norm, many departments looked for ways to provide services with fewer resources. Ron took on responsibility as the PWGSC National Coordinator for Alternate Service Delivery Projects, government-wide. This involved the development and dissemination of creative procedures and methodologies to accomplish this enormous undertaking.
Ron is focused on providing clients with his expertise for the improvement of proposals, including clarifications and remedies. This involves evaluation of proposals prior to submission, identification of areas not achieving full marks and suggestions for improvement to achieve success. Ron assists companies with proposal preparation methodologies in order to fine tune, standardize, and maximize the use of resources, thus leading to better rated proposals.
Ron’s capabilities and expertise, combined with the professional and costing services provided by members of the Centre-Arch team, will maximize the quality of proposals submitted and enhance the client’s success rate.
Ron joined Centre-Arch Inc. in July, 2012.
